Just another wonderful day!
A couple weeks ago I had one of those days we mothers just love! It started out great until after lunch. I got Cole in the tub to clean him off and he kept standing up and looking at me really weird. Then it happened...he pooped in the tub. This had never happened before so I didn't know how to approach the whole cleaning things up issue. So I pulled Cole out of the tub and stood him on the floor to clean his bum. Then I put all his toys in the sink so I could clean the tub to clean Cole (again). I turned around to check on Cole (mostly to make sure he wasn't playing in the toilet) and he did it again. Poop all over the floor and the rug. Yeah!!!
Then when I was getting him dressed, he got frustrated and bit my arm. That was it, I had to get out before I went crazy. So we headed to Target to get a baby gift. We were down the blanket isle and Cole has this thing about blankets lately. I had him in the main basket because he was throwing a fit about being buckled in. I looked away for maybe two seconds and BAM!!! Cole had leaned over the edge of the cart to get a blanket, lost his balance and flipped head over heels out of the cart landing flat on his back. There I was with a screaming child in the middle of Target. And if that wasn't bad enough a lady in the store saw the whole thing and was gasping in horror. Then Cole's nose started to bleed! "Oh great!" I thought. What if he has internal bleeding or a cuncushion. So I ran out of the store to call the doctor, and of course it was a Friday and they leave early. What do I do? So I called the person who always knows what to do...my mom. There I was in the back seat of the car bawling my eyes out with a bleeding kid sitting next to me, with my mom on the phone. What a day!
But the best part of the whole day was my awesome husband who told me that I needed a break, and took me out on a date. I love him to death! I don't know what I would do without him in my life! Hooray for husbands.

Wow! And you even call it "wonderful"! You are great Jen! I do wish that day of pooping in the tub doesn't come for me! Ew! But it seems like you handled the situations dealt to you very well! Motherhood is tough! Love ya!
What doesn't kill us makes us stonger. Cole will be a tough kid. Remember, these experiences are priceless.
Weston I am so proud to call you my brother. Jenn these days just make me laugh because we have all been there. Maybe not exactly but I know the feeling of someone in the store gasping at you. :)
When you look back you can laugh, but in the moment you cry.
You do have an awesome husband! We all need breaks sometimes.
I forgot, but I took him to my mom's house until Weston got home from work. He got the dish soap from under the sink and put it in his mouth. He kept shaking his head and sticking his tongue out and saying "UHHH!" He wouldn't even take a drink to get the taste out of his mouth. It was so funny.
Oh Honey I am so sorry that was a horrible day!!! It does get better someday you will be sending your baby off to school and than you will have another day of crying on the phone with your mom because your kids don't need you 24/7!!! But then you will find out that you are human again and can spend time doing whatever you want!!! Miss you Jen!!! Have a GrEAt DaY ToDay!!! Lots of Love!!!
