Sugar, Sugar!
So I went in for my glucose test today...and failed! My blood sugar is too high. So now they have to do more tests to make sure I don't have gestational diabetes. And the worst part is they have to take my blood. Three times! Once every hour for three hours and I hate needles! Yikes. I have a 15% chance of having any problems but still the thought of giving up sugar...it's just too sad. I love my icecream way too much. Other than that the baby is growing right on schedule and now weighs 2 lbs. I'll update everyone next week after my results.

I had it with my first little guy. It sucks, but you can manage it. The blood tests do suck! Good Luck with it all. If you need some support with the whole thing...give me a call!
Think positive. It will be easier to lose the weight if you eat well. Like I should talk. I ate what I wanted.

I had those extensive tests with Bailey and with Porter. I didn't end up having gestational diabetes though. That 3 hour test is long. Take something to read or do.
Looks like it happens to a lot of people. It happened with me too! It does suck to wait for the 3 hours. I tried to go somewhere in between, not a good idea. I was in Vegas and I think it was too hot! So definately just stay and read a book!
