Wade Reunion 2008

This year we had an Army boot camp theme. It was so cute to see all the kids with their army outfits and dog tags. Friday they had induction where we recieved our tags and arm bands, and were told the boot camp rules of conduct. The kids decorated canteens (water bottles), made crafts, and then we were sent off in our groups for a scavenger hunt to find the hidden army supplies (bubbles, glowsticks, playdough, and parachuters). That night Kevin entertained us with his potato cannon and glowsticks. The next day the kids had their morning drills before breakfast. Then we hit the beach for the day. Weston had a sweet game of beach volleyball going on while the others built a sandcastle and played in the water. That evening we cooked hotdogs and smores around the fire and laughed our heads off at Madie. (She was so hyper). Then Scott racked our brains with riddles. It was so much fun and I can't wait until next year. As usual I forgot to take pictures so here are the few I did take. I'll have to snag some from my mom later.
